This (seven week) course is for anybody who wants to be deeply rooted in the Christian life: connected to Christ in mind and heart, confident in and fed from the Bible, assured about the character of the Father, convinced about the life of prayer, and soft and humble in heart.
As a series of studies in major themes of the Bible, we will explore the nature of God’s story, how it is different from the many other stories we know, and how to make sure we are living in God’s story and not another one. We will talk about why and how the Bible is our source for knowing about God. We will talk how God became human and how this makes us human again. We will explore what we know about heaven, resurrection, and God’s future. And we will finish off with two of the most important parts about being a Christian: knowing Jesus, and the life of prayer.
As this course studies major themes of the Bible, you will be doing short Bible studies in Genesis, Exodus, Isaiah, Psalms, Gospels, Romans, Galatians, Philippians, and Revelation. You will be listening to Pastor Keith give seven teachings on these themes. And you will have a brief chance to discuss your thoughts and questions in small groups.

•Time: You can choose between a mid-day course or an evening course.

Evenings- 6-7:30pm
Platforms: You may join in by coming to the church in person or through zoom.

Following: Following the class, anybody is welcome to stay for prayer, starting at 7:39pm
You may join in one class or come to them all.
Attendance at all classes is required for those who are planning on getting baptized.
